We believe that God is eternally existent in three distinct Persons, the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit. (John 1.1-10, Matthew 28:19, John 14:16-17, II Corinthians 13:14, Ephesians 4:4-6)

We believe that God created humans in the image of Himself. Sin came into the world, which brings about physical and spiritual death. Because of this, the human race is separated from a holy God. (Genesis 3)

We believe that Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man, was born of a virgin and lived a perfect life. His death on the cross serves as the payment for sin. Jesus did not stay dead, but on the third day, God raised His physical body from the dead. Jesus’ death and resurrection make it possible for humans to have a relationship with God. (Luke 1, Romans 5:8, II Corinthians 5:21, Luke 22-24)

We believe that salvation is by God’s grace and man’s faith. There is no amount of good work that can earn a person a place in Heaven. God’s gift of eternal life is only received by faith. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells those who have trusted Jesus to be their Savior. He serves as our guide, comforter, and counselor. He helps us live in God’s will, and He shows us when we are doing wrong. (John 14:16-17 We believe that at anytime Jesus could come back for His Church. All those who are believers will be caught up in the air to meet Him in the clouds. (I Thessalonians 3:13-18)

We believe that there will be a resurrection of all people. All people will stand at one of the two judgments. The great White Throne judgment is for those who do not believe. At this judgment, they will be condemned to hell for eternity. The Judgment Seat of Christ is for those who do believe. At this judgment, believers will be rewarded for works done in this life. (Revelation 20:11-15, II Corinthians 5:10)

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. Its original manuscripts were without error. Today the Bible is our accurate guidebook for life. It guides us as individuals and as a church. (II Timothy 3:16-17) We believe that when a person trusts Jesus for salvation, that person is a member of the body of Christ, the Church. As a local church, we commit ourselves to gather together to worship God and reach out to the world. (Matthew 28:18-20, Hebrews 10:24)

We believe that Jesus wants His followers to be identified with Him by being baptized and remember Him by partaking in the Lord’s Supper. (Matthew 28:18-20, I Corinthians 11:23-34)

We believe that each believer has time, talents, abilities, and resources, given by God, which are beneficial to the church and should be used for His glory. (Romans 12)
