Forum:
The forum is publicly viewable by the whole world (well, maybe not in the extreme North or South Pole, but who knows). If there is interest in changing this, please let us know.

Forum Replies:
There’s a link that says “Add new comment”. You can also reply to specific comments by clicking “reply” (once a comment exists, of course).

User profiles:
You can add information about yourself. Under My account, go to Edit and click on Personal Information. This information is publicly viewable by registered members only, not by the rest of the world.

Input format:
With this new system, we’re using an input format (for styling your posts) called Markdown. It’s a cleaner format than HTML, and pretty easy to learn. If you want to learn more, check out Daring Fireball’s Markdown Syntax Documentation.
