Dear Friend,

Greetings! I want to thank you again for your partnership with me at Global Mapping International and give you a short update on how things are going in Colorado Springs. I am getting settled in with my new job and the community in general.

I have enjoyed my first two months at GMI and have been busy learning about the organization as well as completing several mapping projects. My main role will be to provide and market custom-mapping to organizations, churches, and individuals in ministry. One of my early tasks has been to learn about the data available in GMI’s database and mapping projects. Another has been to complete some incoming mapping projects; for example, a smaller version of a map of the languages of Afghanistan is shown below.

Outside of my job, I am learning to live in a much harsher winter-weather environment than South Carolina! Luckily, I have had no major problems on the snowy roads. I have been attending a local church, going to a weeknight meeting for college/twenty-somethings, and attending a small group meeting. It will definitely take time to build relationships, but I am getting started.

I hope this update finds you doing well. I really appreciate your support and am excited about what lies ahead.

In Christ,

Bryan
