For those of you who don’t know I have a cousin who is a missionary pilot in Brazil. Her husband is a school teacher/administrator at a Christian school.

Here is an email they sent today.

Dear Friends and Family,

Please pray for us here in Brazil. We have had the most awful weekend being sick: fevers, sore throats, headaches, vomiting, runny noses…

It started with Joy when she got back from a long flight, but then everyone has gotten it since then. It’s been 3 long days and although the adults are doing a bit better, it seems like we have a long way to go.

Joy had a flight scheduled for Monday-Tuesday but she has already pushed that back one day. These are long flights to the Cuiaba area with an overnight in between. The tribal teams that she is picking up have already been in the village a month, so she doesn’t want to delay too much.

Please pray for healing (or the ability to push back the flights until she is better) and good weather Tues-Wed.
