I was thinking this morning about how important it is for all of us to be praying for our church right now. Transition is rarely easy and the enemy can often use it to discourage or distract us. Please be in prayer about our transition out of Tasty World and to changes in our worship time as Chet mentioned last night.
I also realized how many people in our church are going through transition periods and how important it is for us to be praying for them specifically:
Pepins: New baby & new job for Anthony
Hodges: New Baby
Schills: New baby & Ben in school
Wells: Matt finishing up school & their move out west
Amber: Looking for a new job
Millers: Time of rest and then re-involvement w/ dcf
John Schimmel: Going to Iraq
Alex & Robbie: becoming roommates in June
Kayla & Amy: Moving to Albany to continue school
Fountains: newlyweds
These were just the things that came to my mind perhaps others have additional items related to life transitions that we can pray for. I hope that we will all lift up the church and its members during this time of change!
Love you all,
Claire

Claire, thank you for reminding us of all of the transitions that our brothers and sisters at dcf are experiencing. I am keeping all in my prayers. Please, everyone, let Matt and I know if we can be of service to you in your individual situations (e.g., help with babysitting, moving, job hunting, or just getting together with another Christian couple, etc.).
Praise the Lord for the Claire’s discernment! Robbie and I got the lease today and will be moving into 140 Park Ave, near the hospital, on or around June 1st. We are excited about living together and being a great testimony to our neighbors. Your prayers for are much appreciated!!
Let us also pray for Chet and Claire regarding their ongoing adoption process and Chet’ schooling and time management skills!
For this reason also, since the day we heard of it, we have not ceased to pray for you and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience; joyously giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in Light. Colossians 1:9-12
Thanks for the prayers - yes please!
Also - prayer for the Schimmels as Melanie has stopped working for Polo in Commerce and is back to being a stay at home home. :)
