I have been quite encouraged (almost overwhelmed) at the work God has been doing amongst us these past few weeks. There is scarcely a more beautiful thing than watching God move amongst His people to glorify His name and build up His children.

I am reminded as I write this that God’s church is a community or individiduals shaping, sharpening, and loving one another for His glory. For a community to thrive, it must be knit together in love (Col. 2:2). As we as a body lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us and fix our eyes on Jesus (Hebrews 12:1,2) I just want to encourage you to pray for your brothers and sisters often and specifically. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much (James 5:16).

As God works in us, both to will and to do for His good pleasure(Php 2:13) let us make sure we do our part as Christ’s disciples and love one another (John 13:35).

For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen.
