greetings all,

Jonah Merce, 5 year old son of my good friends Danny and Suzanne, was taken to Athens Regional Sunday afternoon with a strange rash on his knees and swelling in feet. At first glance, the doctors said it was a reaction to laundry detergent, gave him some steroids and sent them on their way. However, yesterday, far from getting better, the rash and swelling have spread over his entire body, he is covered in what looks like whelts and bruises and he cannot walk or move.

The scary thing is that at this point, the doctors know that it is Not a reaction to laundry detergent, but hey have no idea what is the actual cause.

Needless to say, Jonah’s parents are an emotional wreck, and the entire family is need of much prayer. Please keep Jonah’s health, and his parents emotional states in your prayers.

The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much James 5:6

Grace and peace to all!
Fountains

I am lifting him up now!!

Bonnie and I will be praying also!!

How scary. I’m praying for Jonah, his family, and his doctors.

Thank you all for your prayers and concerns.

Jonah’s current status is much better. The doctors have finally diagnosed the problem, and while it is an uncommon situation they now know how to properly treat it. He will probably still be in the hospital for the next few days but he is on the up and up!!

Yea! Praise God!
